🌱You visit the earth, 땅을 돌보사

자꾸 우리는, 

뭐가 필요한 것처럼 

뭐가 있어야 한다고,,

We are constantly told that we need something.

That something is missing.
That something has to be there.

하지만 어쩌면 우리에게 필요한 건 아무 것도 없을지도 모른다.

But perhaps we don't need as much as the world tells us we do.

갑자기 몸에 큰 상처를 입고 응급 수술이 필요한 게 아닌한..

Unless we've suddenly suffered a serious injury and need emergency surgery...

기본적인 의식주가 아닌 이상,

Or unless we're talking about the basic necessities of food, clothing, and shelter...

사실 우리에게 필요한 건, 있어야 하는 건, 아무 것도 없다.

Perhaps there is nothing we truly must have.
Nothing that is truly lacking.

다 있기 때문에,

전부 다 여기, 우리 안에, 여기 다 주어졌기 때문에. 

Everything may have already been given to us,
already placed within us.

그런데 세상에서는 자꾸 뭐가 필요하다고,

뭐가 있어야 한다고,

뭐가 잘못됐으니까 뭐가 필요한 것처럼 생각하게 만든다. 

And yet the world keeps telling us:

"You need this."

"You have to have that."

"Something is wrong with you, so you need this and that.."

You visit the earth and water it;
    you greatly enrich it;
the river of God is full of water;
    you provide their grain,
    for so you have prepared it.
¹⁰ You water its furrows abundantly,
    settling its ridges,
softening it with showers,
    and blessing its growth.

땅을 돌보사 물을 대어 심히 윤택하게 하시며 하나님의 강에 물이 가득하게 하시고 이같이 땅을 예비하신 후에 그들에게 곡식을 주시나이다
주께서 밭고랑에 물을 넉넉히 대사 그 이랑을 평평하게 하시며 또 단비로 부드럽게 하시고 그 싹에 복을 주시나이다
